MML Law is proud to announce that Ryan Russell, a dedicated employment lawyer and proud Dundonian, has stepped into the role of Senior Managing Partner—a journey that began 16 years ago when he joined the firm as a young trainee.
Ryan’s career has been defined by his commitment to standing up for individuals and businesses alike, often taking on complex “David and Goliath” cases. His experience includes representing clients in high-profile employment tribunals, solidifying his reputation as a lawyer who fights for fairness and results.
A former Morgan Academy pupil and University of Dundee graduate, Ryan’s local roots run deep. His leadership marks an exciting new chapter for MML, continuing the firm’s tradition of delivering expert legal services with a personal touch.
“We’re big enough to get results but small enough to care,” Ryan says. “My goal is to build on MML’s strong foundations while ensuring our clients always receive tailored, top-tier legal support.”
Beyond his legal career, Ryan is also known for his entrepreneurial spirit. During the pandemic, he co-founded Doorstep Glass Recycling, a service designed to make glass recycling easier for local residents. He is also a non-executive director at United Capital and a lecturer in law at the University of Dundee—proving that his passion for leadership and community impact extends far beyond the courtroom.
As he steps into his new role, Ryan remains committed to ensuring MML continues to stand out in the modern legal landscape, combining expertise with a client-first approach.
